Thomas Adams students in Years 9, 10 and 11 have recently enjoyed a live performance from young musician, Bronnie.
Bronnie is a Pop/Rock Artist from the North West and equips a high energy persona with catchy Alt/Punk/Rock influences.
She performed some of her own songs including her new release “Rabbit Hole” as well as some of her favourites including ‘Shout Out to My Ex’ from her time when she supported girl band ‘Little Mix’.
Having previously gained extensive touring experience around the UK, Europe and USA, she has also supported a number of high profile acts including Avril Lavigne and Neck Deep.
After her performance, Bronnie delivered a PSHE message to our students empowering them to make healthy life choices, as well as providing them with real life stories and sound advice.
Bronnie discussed mental health, a time when she had her own mental health issues, who to turn to for help and the importance of speaking up.
Towards the end of the presentation, Bronnie held a Q&A session which gave students the opportunity to ask any questions they had including her idols and the names of her 5 cats!
During the recent times, it has been a difficult period for students, especially on their mental health. Having had her own struggles with bullying, body image and mental health, Bronnie was the perfect advocate to deliver a positive message to our young people.
Bronnie certainly lifted spirits, entertained and ultimately educated our students on these sensitive subjects.
Thank you for coming to visit us!
