On Monday 2nd March, The Stanier Hall was host to our careers fair during National Careers Week.  National Careers Week is an annual event designed to showcase the importance of strong and impartial careers and academic guidance.

The hall was full with over 30 stands where companies, universities, colleges and training providers provided advice, information and guidance to students.

It was an extremely busy event with all year groups and sixth formers attending to explore where the future could take them.  Lower school students visited the fair as part of their PSHE day and sixth formers also attended.

The following companies, training providers, universities and colleges were in attendance:

The Thomas Adams Sixth Form, Aberystwyth University, Barlows Electrical, NCS, HSBC, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Keele University, Caterpillar, Mike Minns IT consultant, National Trust, BT, Royal Navy, Muller, ABP, Army, Agro Merchant Group, Marches Engineering, Juniper Training, County Training, University Centre Shrewsbury, Chester University, Harper Adams, Staffordshire University, NHS, The Careers Alliance, Connexus, Reaseheath College, West Mercia Police, UCFB, HR Dept. and Aico.
