Techniquest

The Mathematics Department are planning to take all Year 8 pupils to Techniquest in Wrexham during the last week of term, on Tuesday 14th July. This is an exciting opportunity for pupils to investigate mathematics outside of the classroom. The pupils will have time to explore the 5 different zones, where there are over 60 hands on exhibits, with a focus on Maths and Science. They will also attend two workshops run by the centre. The cost of the trip is £10. The coaches will leave school at 9.20am and return to school in time for the buses at 3.20p.m. Pupils will need to bring a packed lunch and they may wish to bring a small amount of money to purchase souvenirs.

The School is able to cover the cost of the trip for students that wish to attend who receive free school meals. Students receiving free school meals will be able to order a packed lunch the day before we go and collect it on the morning if they wish.
