Thomas Adams selected to become a Music Mark School Member for 2021/2022
We are thrilled to announce we have been nominated by Shropshire Music Service to become a Music Mark School. They have recognised the value that we place on music and our continued commitment to ensuring students are offered and given access to a high quality music education.
Music Mark is the UK Association for Music Education. They champion and support access to music for all children and young people. Their vision is for there to be excellent musical learning in and out of school which inspires and enriches the lives of all young people in the UK. Being a member enables us to access resources, events and webinars.
Mrs Heywood, Director of Music, said “by becoming a member of the Music Mark for 2021/2022, our music education will strengthen further. Starting in Year 7, our students now have a fantastic opportunity to learn a musical instrument, access a large variety of music clubs and take part in extra-curricular activities. We are delighted to received this nomination”.
