Congratulations to the Thomas Adams School on maintaining the Safer School accreditation.
Since the school’s accreditation in 2014, Mr Cooper and his staff have ensured that security/safety is a priority and it’s been demonstrated through the school’s solid involvement in the initiative.
Created by West Mercia Police, Safer Schools includes reviewing any incidents/issues at the school, ensuring essential security/safety measures are effective, gathering feedback from students/parents/carers and finally, considering any potential improvements.
Recently, the school held an annual Safer School meeting involving staff and students. An excellent meeting of positive and constructive observations and it included evaluating a student survey.
The school has been presented with a new Safer School certificate.
A future annual meeting will be scheduled for 2023.
