As part of our 5th PSHE day, we held our annual Careers Fair in the Stanier Hall. The Careers Fair was open to all students from Year 7 to Year 13.

We had over 20 exhibitors attending including the Army, NHS, Royal Navy, Airbus, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, HSBC, Lanyon Bowdler and the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital. We also had representatives from local universities, colleges, training and apprenticeship providers.

Over the course of the day, 1200 students had the opportunity to speak to different companies about the skills, qualifications and experience they would need to be successful in these particular careers. A popular highlight included a Paramedic training ambulance courtesy of Keele University Paramedic Science.

The main purpose of the careers fair was to provide students with valuable insights into various career options, industries and educational pathways. This event is designed to help students make informed decisions about their future education and career choices.

The visitors commented on how well behaved all students were with everyone engaging and asking lots of questions.

Thank you to everyone for supporting this event.
