Thank you for your interest in joining our team. We are a co-educational 11-18 community school and our campus is based on the edge of Wem, Shropshire. We employ 90+ staff and have c1,300 students enrolled at Thomas Adams.
We offer a range of teaching and non-teaching positions and pay the highest attention to staff welfare as our way of showing appreciation for all that the staff do for the school.
All appointments will be subject to the applicant completing a DBS Enhanced Disclosure and associated checks and on receipt of satisfactory references.
Owing to the retirement of a long-standing colleague, the opportunity has arisen to join our friendly and supportive department facilitating the smooth running of all aspects of the Science department.
The department is very successful across all Key Stages and Science subjects are very popular at A Level. We run OCR courses at GCSE and A Level and teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics. We have a strong teaching team of subject specialists and an experienced team of passionate technicians. We are willing to embrace new ideas but can also provide guidance and training, we are looking for someone to join with us as a valued member of our team.
