Thank you for your interest in joining our team. We are a co-educational 11-18 community school and our campus is based on the edge of Wem, Shropshire. We employ 90+ staff and have c1,300 students enrolled at Thomas Adams.

We offer a range of teaching and non-teaching positions and pay the highest attention to staff welfare as our way of showing appreciation for all that the staff do for the school.

Teacher of French

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic Teacher of French to join an established department, covering all aspects of teaching responsibilities. We have an open and friendly department, where self-reflection and sharing of good practice is a key and common occurrence. We are collaborative with our planning and share resources and strategies as a general expectation of practice, and our ideal candidate would enjoy working in such a way.

Teacher of Health & Social Care

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Health and Social Care to join our fully committed, mutually supportive and forward-looking department in our 11-18 school. We would be open to someone at the start of their teaching career, who is dynamic, eager, and willing to share up to date pedagogies, or equally someone with more years’ teaching practice, who would be able to bring a wealth of experience and expertise into the department.

The successful candidate would be joining a department offering a popular option subject in KS4 delivering the Level 1/2 Cambridge National Award. Health and Social care is also a well-subscribed subject at KS5, offering a Level 3 Cambridge Technical Extended Certificate.
