Sadly, due to Covid-19 we have been unable to invite parents in to school this year for our usual Celebration Evenings.

However, we still wanted to praise all our students for their hard work and have held Celebration Assemblies throughout this week.

An assembly took place for each year group where we were able to celebrate the achievements of our students over the last academic year.

Students receive nominations from their teachers for attainment, progress throughout the year, progress throughout KS3 and an overall subject leader award.

We also celebrate students for outstanding progress (the most progress across three tracking points) and outstanding effort (the most Exceeding Expectations that have been recognised by their teachers).

We praise students for their contributions to extra-curricular activities e.g. young journalist award, taking part in activities and representing the school at various sporting events.

Finally, we recognise the highest earning House Point achievers and Head of Year certificates, nominated by the Head of Year.

A huge “Congratulations” to everyone who received a nomination.

Here’s a selection of photos from each of the year group assemblies.
