On Wednesday morning, we were delighted to welcome members of the Drapers’ Company to Thomas Adams School.
They spoke to Year 7 students during their morning assembly to tell them all about their 4-day, 250 mile charity bike ride, Tour de Drapers.
During the ride, they will visit seven schools affiliated with the Drapers’ Company.
The challenge is to raise funds and awareness of the Master’s Charity, which this year is Place2Be, a children’s mental health charity https://www.place2be.org.uk/ which provides mental health support in schools through one to one and group counselling.
Following the assembly, students cheered them on with flags and t-shirts as they set off making their way to their next destination. Everyone at Thomas Adams wished them ‘good luck’ on their journey.
