Delighted Headteacher, Mark Cooper, has praised the efforts of staff and students on a pleasing set of GCSE results.

“Everyone has worked incredibly hard again this year and the achievements of our young people are a credit to them and their efforts.”

“In addition, a good number of students have made progress above national expected levels throughout their time at Thomas Adams School and we are also immensely proud of those students who have overcome personal difficulties in order to achieve their best.”

Candice Chan – 3 x Grade 9, 4 x Grade 8, 1 x Grade 7, 1 x Grade 4

Poppy Davies – 3 x Grade 9, 2 x Grade 8, 4 x Grade 7

James Trump – 7 x Grade 8, 1 x Grade 6, 1 x Grade 4

Ben Knowles – 1 x Grade 9, 3 x Grade 8, 2 x Grade 7, 2 x Grade 6, 1 x Grade 5

Mr Cooper added “I would like to put on record my thanks to all students, staff and parents, for what was an exemplary team effort during what has been a challenging few years. Many of these Thomas Adams students are now joining others from across North Shropshire, and from further afield, in moving on to take A levels at The Thomas Adams Sixth Form. I am sure we will enjoy further success with them in two years’ time.”
