Friday 13th, a cold and wet December afternoon, we held our Primary Orchestra event.  Inside the Stanier Hall there was a warm reception and some fantastic, festive-feeling work completed by the students taking part.

Primary school musicians from across North Shropshire were in attendance.  All were supported by music students from Thomas Adams School. Those involved in the orchestra event played a wide range of instruments including drums, guitar, percussion, clarinets, trumpet, piano, viola, violin, cello and flute.

At the start of the event the children had not even seen the music they would be playing!  But with hard work and determination, the event culminated with a superb festive performance.  Parents/carers were invited along with accompanying teachers to enjoy the performance.
A fantastic event and a huge thank you to all of the musicians involved and those who made the session possible – staff, students and parents/carers.
We look forward to hosting the KS2 Spring Singing Event on 6th March and the KS2 Summer Orchestra Event on 3rd July.
Merry Christmas from Thomas Adams School!
