The NHS Mental Health Support Team visited school today to run sessions for Year 11 on ‘Staying Mentally Well During Exams’.

Exams can cause stress. Stress is the body’s natural reaction to feeling threatened or under pressure. It is not dangerous but it is uncomfortable. It is important to understand how stress affects you and how you can look after yourself at stressful times, like during exams.

Lucy and Megan delivered a presentation and workshop to Year 11 students, giving them wellbeing advice, top and useful information on how to manage stress.

Students were issued with a booklet to complete during the workshop. A copy can be found here.
